Honey and Beekeeping Fair: Celebrating Biodiversity and Sustainable Living!

Beekeeping plays a crucial role in preserving biodiversity. Beekeepers meticulously observe nature with the help of bees, resulting in a wealth of experience to share. To raise general environmental awareness and contribute to biodiversity conservation, the NGO Tallinn Beekeepers' Association, in collaboration with the NGO Let's Start from the Beginning, is organizing a Honey and Beekeeping Fair on September 23-24 within the indoor premises of Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. A similar event focused on beekeeping has not been held before; now the time is ripe.

The Honey and Beekeeping Fair caters to both professionals and hobbyists, as well as anyone who values biodiversity, naturally pure products, and supporting local businesses.

The fair aims to create a space for beekeepers and beekeeping enthusiasts. It aspires to become a tradition, establishing a venue where beekeepers gather annually to interact with suppliers and manufacturers of beekeeping supplies and equipment. Here, beginners and experts alike can acquire information about technological advancements, evolving practices, and legislative requirements. Additionally, the fair serves as a place for aficionados of honey and wholesome food to explore the flavors of various Estonian regions' honey, peruse an abundant selection of beekeeping products, and purchase other local goods. Lectures on topics related to honey, bees, beekeeping, and environmental education will be offered to diverse interest groups.
